This girl named Patricia is trying to help her friend’s father, Valdir Borges Teixeira, who is now at the ICU in an hospital at São Paulo (Brazil), recovering from an severe case of COVID-19. They raised enough funds to maintain him hospitalized for 10 days at the hospital, but this period won’t be enough for him to be able to go home, and the public hospitals aren’t able to take care of his needs, once they’re overcrowded. They need to raise over R$160.000,00 BRL / $28.000,00 USD in order to keep him receiving treatment for 20 more days.

Hello 👋🏽 I am a physically disabled black woman, an artist, and the sole caretaker of my autistic brother.
Last year, our home was sold from underneath us after our father passed away and my brother and I were left with almost nothing, and nowhere to go. We lost everything. And since, have been struggling every single day to survive and keep a roof over our heads.
We are fighting the system for assistance for my brother, but have been denied twice despite full proof of the extent of disability.
They Do Not Want Us To Live.

Hi everyone! In October I was diagnosed with Stage III Endocrinic Cancer, where they removed a 6 lb tumor that was 22 inches in size from my ovary. I’m currently doing a fundraiser to help with the costs of chemotherapy, missed work, hospital bills, and other costs associated with cancer treatment. I’m so grateful for the support I’ve already received on my GFM, that allowed me to pay for several procedures but unfortunately the costs keep stacking up as chemotherapy continues on. Our new goal to help with the above balance is $15,000 total. Unfortunately I make about $500 too much a year to qualify for financial assistance.
